Leslie’s Art in New Hospital Collection

Salida’s Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center completed their new wing this summer. The hospital is a great supporter of local arts in the area and when the work was nearly complete, they sent out a call for local artists to submit proposals to be part of their new permanent collection. Leslie’s painting “Bones” 48×36″ acrylic on canvas was purchased as part of this public art project. The painting is from her Salida Bike Series, gestural portraits of bikes in town.

“I’m so proud to be a part of this important collection and share it with many people for years to come,” said Leslie.
